how much are lessons?

For a 30-minute lesson and full program offering, the cost around $1,700 per year (cost subject to change) payable in 10 monthly installments. We offer a bursary program.(link to bursary page) Note: Fees do not include the cost of instruments.

when do we start?

The earlier the better! We offer a Suzuki Early Childhood Education program (link to Suzuki ECE page) for children 0-3 years old accompanied by an adult. This program is an ideal preparation for instrument lessons.

Starting instrument lessons: Children of preschool age have an insatiable desire to learn. We take students as young as 3 years old. Learning an instrument at such a young age will have a positive impact on their development for years to come.

Note: With young children it is best to come for lessons during the day if at all possible. According to the Ontario School Act: “A child is excused from attendance if he or she is absent for the purpose of receiving instruction in music and the period of absence does not exceed one-half day in any week.”
