Caroline MacDonald studied music education at Wilfrid Laurier University and received her B.Ed from Queen’s University. She has completed her third level in Orff training as well as her second level in Kodaly training. Caroline was an elementary school teacher for 12 years with the Upper Grand District School Board teaching children from the ages of 5 through 12. She taught in the capacity of classroom teacher, teacher-librarian and music teacher.
Caroline resides in Guelph with her husband, teenage daughter (who is a viola student at SSSG), her dog and cat. Besides teaching the Rhythmic Reading program at the Suzuki String School of Guelph on Saturday mornings since 2003, Caroline is owner/teacher at Musikgarten of Guelph teaching her own music education/piano classes. She is also a preschool music teacher at two Montessori schools, and the music teacher for grades 1-6 at the Guelph Montessori School.
