Cellist Andrea Cook began her cello studies at the Suzuki School of Guelph, where she was taught by Sally Gross. After finishing undergraduate studies with John Ehrlich, Andrea completed a Master of Music degree and a Performer's Certificate with Marc Johnson of the Vermeer String Quartet at Northern Illinois University.
Upon graduating Andrea began teaching for the Huntsville Suzuki School in Ontario. In 2001 Andrea moved to London, England to join her husband and taught for the London Suzuki Group until returning to Canada in 2009. Andrea currently resides in Guelph, where she plays for the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, and enjoys being a mom to a budding cellist.
