Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Music Society
Chamber Music and Recitals Throughout the Year
The K-W (for Kitchener-Waterloo) Chamber Music Society is a presenting organization (not a performing organization). It presents a lot of concerts—lately, on the order of 70+ per year. To see what’s on for the next few months, click the Go to KWCMS Concerts link below.
Unless specified otherwise, KWCMS concerts are held in the KWCMS Music Room, at 57 Young Street, West, in Waterloo, Ontario. All concerts begin at 8 pm. The Music Room is a large room in a private home, seating a maximum of 85, with a superlative Steinway piano from 1887. It is a wonderful space to hear chamber music. Attire is informal.
Reservations can be made by e-mailiing Jan Narveson or calling Jan or Jean Narveson at 519-886-1673.
Cecilia String Quartet
This exciting young quartet would not have been in Guelph Musicfest without the support and cooperation of Jan Narveson (KWCMS) and Simon Fryer (Wilfrid Laurier University Quartetfest). Many thanks.
The Cecilia String Quartet opens Quartetfest 2009 on
Sunday, May 24 at 8 pm, Maureen Forrester Recital Hall at WLU
