String Program
Junior Program in Violin, Viola and Cello
Students Eligible: Suzuki violinists, violists or cellists, Bks. 1–3
Program includes:
- Daily individual lesson (4 students in a one-hour class)
- Daily repertoire group
- Daily class in Music & Movement (pre-reading), reading ensemble or orchestra
- Play-ins
- Solo recital performance opportunity for everyone
Daily Options (you may choose only one of the following):
- Music at the Movies (students bk. 2 and up)
- Bonus Group Class (students bks. 1–2; limit of 12 participants)
- Handbell Choir (bk. 2 and up, able to read music)
- Fiddling for Violinists (students bk. 2 and up)
- Fiddling for Violists (students bk. 2 and up)
- Viola for Violinists (students bk. 2 and up)
- Music Through the Ages
- Percussion for String Students (students bk. 2 and up)
Additional Daily Option: Operetta (you may choose operetta as your only option, or as a special option in addition to one of the regular Daily Options)
Students may also register for private Alexander Technique lessons, accompanied by a parent.

Intermediate Program in Violin, Viola & Cello
Students Eligible:
- Suzuki violinists (Bks. 4-6)
- Violists (Bks. 4-5)
- Cellists (Bks. 4-6)
Program includes:
- Daily individual lesson (3 students in a one-hour class)
- Daily repertoire class
- Orchestra
- Play-ins
- Solo recital performance opportunity for everyone
- Cellists have a daily Cello Choir class
Daily Options (you may choose only one of the following):
- Music at the Movies (students bk. 2 and up)
- Handbell Choir
- Fiddling for Violinists
- Fiddling for Violists
- Viola for Violinists
- Music Through the Ages
- Percussion for String Students
Additional Daily Option: Operetta (you may choose operetta as your only option, or as a special option in addition to one of the regular Daily Options)

Senior Program in Violin, Viola & Cello
Directed to advanced level students. Lessons given by distinguished Suzuki teachers particularly experienced with advanced level teaching. No audition required.
Students Eligible:
- Violinists who have completed Suzuki Bk. 6
- Violists who have completed Suzuki Bk. 5
- Cellists who have completed Suzuki Bk. 6
Program includes:
- Daily individual lesson (2 students in a one-hour class)
- Daily advanced repertoire group
- Advanced orchestra
- Solo recital performance opportunity for everyone
- Play-ins
- Cellists have a daily Cello Choir class
- Senior Concert ensemble performance
Daily Options (you may choose only one of the following):
- Music at the Movies (students bk. 2 and up)
- Handbell Choir
- Fiddling for Violinists
- Fiddling for Violists
- Viola for Violinists
- Music Through the Ages
- Percussion for String Students
- String/Piano Duo

Young Artist Program in Violin or Cello
This class is open to senior violin or cello students, and provides instruction in a setting that moves towards traditional music college/university instruction while maintaining roots in Suzuki philosophy and pedagogy. It is expected that these senior players, who provide a role model to other participating students, will join happily in other Institute events.
Students Eligible:Violinists who have completed Suzuki Bk. 8 or Cellists who have completed Suzuki Bk. 7.
